| AFC SOLIDARITY CUP 2016 |
After a huge success during Bangabhandu Gold Cup and SAG Games 2016 Nepali men's football team has played a draw against Timor Leste at AFC SOLIDARITY Cup 2016 on going at Malaysia.
Nepal has played the first game of the tournament today against Timor. Nepal has played this game under the captaincy of Biraj Maharjan and with the prolific striker Nawayug and Bimal playing upfront for the team but that hasn't paid enough with luck not on the favor of the Nepalese side.
One of the golden opportunity arrives for Nepal during the first ten minutes of the game but the ball was denied by the cross bar and the second chance arrives during the last 20 minutes of the game when the header of Ananta Tamang was also denied by the cross bar. After the win against Timor on their first game Brunei are at the top of the table with 3 points following Nepal 2nd and Timor at last of the group. To go to second round of this tournament Nepal must have to improve lots for their next game !!!
